ALL of our Vehicles
School buses are designed so that they're highly visible and include safety features such as flashing red lights, cross-view mirrors and stop-sign arms. They also include protective seating, high crush standards and rollover protection features.

Typical job duties of a school bus attendant are greeting students as they board, showing passengers to their assigned seats and making sure they buckle their seatbelts, and helping students with special needs.
- Physical performance test.
- Medical examination Purified Protein Derivative Tuberculosis Skin Test (PDD) every year.
- NYSED and NYCDOE mandated training certificates
- Spring / fall refresher certificate
- American Red Cross First Aid Training Certificate
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
ALL of our Drivers
A School Bus Driver's responsibilities include ensuring that their vehicles are in good shape and observing safety and traffic rules while on the road with students traveling across town. Ultimately, you will ensure proper vehicle maintenance and observe traffic rules and maintain order with passengers on the bus.
- Are NYS 19A Certified
- Complete a 30 hours NYS Safety Training program
- Are randomly checked for drugs and alcohol
- Are cleared through the NY State Central Registry
- Undergo fingerprint background checks
- Have an annual physical examination
- Are regularly performance-assessed
- Participate in mandatory and in-house safety refresher courses
